Every month we recognize a new Community Conscious Company (CCC). Each CCC is a local business that acknowledges that they know that mental health is a human need and they are aware and supportive of those needs. Follow along to see the CCC's in the local community and visit our  B.E.R.E.A.D.Y Heart Wall.

NW Community Bank was recognized as the CCC of the Month in May 2024, to host our Heart Wall for Mental Health Awareness Month. Located at 416 Winsted Rd. Torrington, CT 06790, Nw Community bank is a locally owned community bank built up on a culture where all people are valued and their mission is to support non-profit organizations that strengthen and enhance the quality of life in the communities they serve.

TAFA INC. was recognized as the CCC of the Month in April 2024, perfect timing for Autism Awareness Month. Torrington Area Families for Autism (TAFA) is a local Autism nonprofit organization located at 932 E Main Street Suite 2 Torrington, CT 06790. Started by parents who know first hand what it means to raise a child living with autism. The goal of TAFA is to create a group focused on Autism Advocacy, Awareness and Inclusion.

Crystal Teal Co. was recognized as the CCC of the Month in March 2024. A Jewerly shop located at 76 Water St. Torrington,CT 06790

They create beautiful handmade jewelry and their mission is to empower every woman and young girl to EMBRACE their body as they REDEFINE beauty standards!

Love it Vegan was our 1st recognized CCC in February 2024.

A Vegan Food company located at 73 Main St. Torrington,CT 06790, that also works as a community space hosting game nights every Friday and a Queer Community Craft Fair every 1st Saturday of the month.
