Be Ready Multiplier Event – Salford

Salford Foundation hosted the third multiplier event of the Be Ready project at The Copthorne Hotel, Salford on Thursday 5th October 2017. 50 local businesses and professionals were invited to the event that illustrated ways in which young people currently in education can be assisted to develop knowledge and understanding of the world of work to encourage their progression.

It also explored ways of providing workplace exposure and skills for young people who are not in education or employment. Keynote speakers from both the public and private sector spoke about their experiences working with young people in the Salford area. Finally, the event ended with a panel of young people speaking about their experiences of the Be Ready activities.
